KVAL’s 990F-4 has set the productivity standard in the door pre-hanging industry for more than two decades. Many door companies have pre-hung over 500 units in a single shift with the 990F-4. Constantly improved and updated, the system includes KVAL’s unique sliding "Six Shooter" self-feeding hydraulic screwdriver. In operation, doors automatically feed into position for clamp-up, routing, boring, hinge pre-drill, and then hinge application to door and jamb. The 990F-4 has also been designed to allow for 6’8" and 8’0" applications. A complete 990F-4 door pre-hanging system can be built by placing a Handler Door Feeder and a 555 Sizer in line at the in-feed, with a 960-3 Automatic Strike Jamb Router and a 700-C Assembly Machine at the out-feed.
